Running Free in the House

Guinea pigs need to be allowed out of their cage for exercise at least one to two hours a day either in the house or in an enclosure in the yard away from neighborhood cats and dogs

Naturally, the yard is more suitable because they can get some fresh air and enjoy the weather there. This out of cage time is a must because our little rodents are prone to obesity and often have problems with their weight

– Exercise outside the cage strengthens not only the animal’s body, but also its mind

– A sacious outdoor enclosure always provides them with new diversions and stimulates their senses

– There is plenty to investigate here, and the animals never get bored. Animals who are allowed to live this way are also mentally fit and active
